Sawing and hedge cutting with digger
Save Time and Money with Our Saw Blade Hedge Cutting
Using our Saw Blade rotating circular saw we are able to efficiently de-limb trees with our 7 meter arm. Removing the need to use towers or cherry pickers. The saw blade is capable of cutting through 14″ diameter limbs leaving a clean cut. Many farmers use us to remove overhanging branches along the fence line.
Our front mounted Saw Blade will save you time and money in the removal of scrub and overhanging trees without the need for other equipment.
Overgrown Hedges
Do you have any overgrown hedges that are out of control and require more than a traditional hedge cutter, then the saw blade is your ideal solution to bringing that hedge back to its former glory. The saw will make clean cuts to the limbs and encourage new growth.
Overgrown and Dangerous Tree Limbs
Do you have tree limbs that are dangerous and difficult to access, then the saw blade will be able to reach these difficult areas and remove the branches with ease and safely as all controls are located within the tractor.
Grassland Maintenance
Moving
Any keeper of livestock understands that fields of grass provide the best form of cheap feed for animals, however to keep the grass growing at its optimum rate you are required to maintain it. From removing horse droppings using a tractor pulled field sweep. To flail topping the grass to remove wispy long grass and weeds to testing the soils for its PH level to ensure that the nutrients from the rain are being absorbed by the grass this can be corrected by the spreading of lime. Arieating the soil will also reduce compaction and improve drainage. Rolling grass will also kill off weeds, for areas that do not have enough grass coverage we can also provide seeding services. We aim to improve the grass health and growth without the need for chemical fertilizers.
Flail topping
Flail mowers are an excellent way for topping paddocks. Flail mowers reduce cuttings to small pieces called mulch. The mulch will rot and break down faster than if cut with a conventional topper and leaves a tidier appearance. The grass density increases and uneven surfaces are levelled, as the mower is fitted with a large, heavy rear roller.
Paddocks that are overrun with weeds, tall grass etc. can be topped and brought back to a manageable condition. Bracken, docks, thistles, buttercups and other large intrusive weeds can be reduced to a fine mulch which can be collected or left to rot down.

We are traditional farmers at heart and also provide a full range of farm contracting services and we have a range of machinery that will enable us to support any farmer with additional machinery including GPS assisted tractors, all of our tractors are fitted with 2 way radios to avoid communication difficulties where mobile phone signals are poor.
